Our roots in the automotive industry and nearly 20 years of experience building and working on hot rods led to the creation of Heat Sheets. We have become experts in the car business through buying and selling a variety of vehicles, performing mechanical and maintenance work, and building classic cars and street rods. Additionally, we spent the last few years conducting performance upgrades on old and late model muscle cars, becoming one of the largest speed shops in the state. As a result, we learned exactly what it takes for vehicles to perform their best.
We all know, with speed comes heat! Through the process of building fast cars, we struggled to find reliable ways to keep temperatures low and protect important areas within the vehicle. Move this here… adjust this there… watch the fuel lines… is anything touching the exhaust?… THAT CAN’T GO THERE! We faced the same difficulties that many of you have had with builds. For us, some adhesive style products worked well inside the cabin, but did not work underneath the car. We needed something like OEM shielding products, but more versatile.
We searched extensively for years, looking for an affordable OEM style shielding with no luck. Of course there are products that wrap high heat parts but we all know what that leads to. And what about the “stick-on” stuff? How long does it last? And what if there is nowhere to adhere it? All of the options available to us were either too expensive or unrealistic for our intended application.
After struggling for so long, we finally came up with our own heat shielding product. We designed Heat Sheets to become everything that every other product was not. We began to use Heat Sheets in our own builds and LOVED it, which is why we want to share it with others who may be facing the same obstacles we were.
We created Heat Sheets initially intending for it to be used in the hot rod and race industry. However, as time went on, we realized that there were many other useful applications. We hope others enjoy using Heat Sheets as much as we do for their own projects and continue to share new and innovative ways to use it.
10 Heat Sheets
Heat Sheets is an aluminum heat shielding material designed to protect heat sensitive areas such as fuel pumps, fuel lines, electrical and even the passenger cabin. It is designed to work with Intakes, Turbos, Exhaust or any other high heat applications. Heat Sheets can be cut, bent and molded to almost any form. It fastens to any solid mounting point for protection up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.
